Charles Scribner's Sons, 1929. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover. Beautifully bound with a faux leather nubby cloth. Has embossed border, a design of a head, and the title and name of author within another boards. All of the embossing on the faux leather. Five raised bands on the spine with very faded gilt lettering. Tissue guard in place between b&w plate of Mr. Tutt and the title page. Small fold at bottom of tissue guard at the gutter. Upper right corner of front board is dented, and rest of corners and spine ends do have wearing to the cloth. White scrape on front board. The binding is sound. Rough cut page edges. Toned pages. The boards to this book could be considered art in and of themselves. We do have in our stock another book by Mr. Train, bound in the same manner. 315 pages.
