Typical Chase pulp, with a classic politically-incorrect title (changed for most later editions to the more benign "Twelve Chinamen and a Woman"). Quote from the tiny portion of the jacket text that remains on the front pastedown: "This is no book for the faint-hearted. It is for mystery fans who like explosive action." .
