The 1966 date on the title page plus 47G in the gutter of page 405 denote this as a first edition. The usual statement of "First Edition" on the copyright page was ommitted as Doubleday considered this as a reprint. Fine in near fine, bright dust jacket, with the original published price of $4.95 on the front flap. A very attractive copy.
