She seems lost, and Mac decides to offer her a ride home.The woman, Alice, is anxious and reluctant to accept Mac's offer, but she eventually agrees. As they drive, Alice tells Mac about her difficult life. She's been struggling to make ends meet since her parents died a few years ago, and she's been living with her older sister.
