Annotated by Larry Burgess, Ph.D. Dust jacket art by Leo Politi, with a frontispiece portrait of the author, illustrations by Ethel Burt, and a facsimile pamphlet (housed in the rear pocket). A young lady's account of a two week journey through Southern California on the Santa Fe Railway's Kite-Shaped Track in May 1899. Original brown cloth binding, with gilt titles. Very slight rippling of the dust jacket from the original shrink wrap; otherwise a pristine copy.
