Coudert, sending thanks for the remembrance of the sixth anniversary of his appointment as Chief Justice by President Hoover, in full: "My dear Coudert: I didn't know why this particular anniversary should have been selected for comment, but I warmly appreciate your kind message. Very sincerely yours..." One horizontal fold; faint staining on the lower half, but still in very good condition.<br/><br/> American jurist who served as Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.<br/><br/>
