Edition du Figaro. A collaboration including Edmond de Goncourt, Alphonse daudet, Emile Zola, Antonin Proust, Robert de Bonnières, Henry Gréville, Guy de Maupassant, Paul Bourget, J.-K. Hüysmans, Gustave Geffroy, Stéphane Mallarmé, L. Mullem, J. Ajalbert, L. De Fourcaud, Félicien Champsaur, Octave Mirbeau, Henry Céard, J. H. Rosny, Roger Marx, Paul Bonnetain, Jean Richepin. with more than 150 engraved compositions including 40 in colour, notably 6 out of text and 10 heliogravures. Colour prints with hand colouring. Internally clean and tidy with a few tiny marks only. VII-(1)-160 p Mallarmé's seven short poems, from issue no. 7, are among the most spiritual in his work: La Petite Marchande de lavande; The Garlic and Onion Merchant; The Shoe Tiler; The Cantonnier; The Print Crier; The Carrier's Wife; The Clothes Merchant. An eighth: The Glazier existing in proofs (Jacques Doucet Literary Library) was not printed in this work. The two sonnets: The Little Lavender Seller and The Shoe Tiler are now known under the titles of The Herb Seller and The Savetier. 280 by 220mm (11 by 8¾ inches). First edition .
