About This Item
Racine, Wi: Golden Press, 1978. 1st Printing. Trade paperback. Shelfwear and rubbing to the covers; interior is clean. Very good. Tall 8vo. 224pp. A full color Comic compilation of more than sixty short stories dedicated to lifting the veil of mystery off of the phenomena known as unidentified flying objects, UFO Encounters details tales of UFO history, sightings, and abductions. At times overly theatrical, each story is a stand-alone account of strange visitors from other worlds, some friendly some menacing. Though some stories are said to be based upon actual eyewitness accounts, they have been dramatized for sensational effect.
