This beautifully illustrated children's book was illustrated and written by popular English illustrator and author Raymond Briggs. Briggs is best known for his 1978 work 'The Snowman' and won the 1966 and 1973 'Kate Greenaway Medals' for his illustrations. This work won the 'Nestle Smarties Book Prize Silver Award' and follows the story of a young caveboy on his search for soft trousers.
