London: Macmillan, 1966. Cloth. Very Good/Poor. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Very large, heavy book, fine dark blue cloth with small light blue stain at bottom front and bottom front tip, very bright gilt illustrations of sleeping antelope at center front, dark red background at spine top with gilt lettering, small thin lighter spot at middle bottom back edge and bottom back tip, maps inside covers and adjacent end papers of Africa and Uganda, 232 pages, final pages uncut. Every other page is a pen and ink illustration of people and animals of Uganda, with comments on opposite page often demeaning and patronizing--beautiful art throughout. DJ beneath mylar, price-clipped, glossy brown background with illustration of man on front, woman with jug on spine, bull elephant on back. DJ badly torn at all edges. Poor DJ/Near Very Good book.
