About This Item

Amsterdam : Lecturis / van Zoetendaal, 2014. First edition. Large softback photo book. In very good condition. No text, just photos. 145 pages. 280 x 220 mm (11 x 8¾ inches). Otto Snoek photographed the images presented here during six trips to Ukraine between 1989 - 1992. He documents a poor and desperate - but proud - country, in the latter years of communism, and records the people and places in a style which means that different things happen simultaneously in his photos. Fascinating.
