Tall quarto, covers laminated card stock, pp. 139, Illustrated with drawings. -- Introduction: 137 ideas for cars and engines are presented. This includes steam, gasoline, and diesel engines; a large variety of freight cars, both trussrod and steel underframe types; MOW cars; three kinds of passenger equipment: trussrod, curved roof coaches, short modern lightweight cars, and long, fluted-side streamliners. The drawings may be based on a prototype, either standard or narrow gauge, they may be conglomerates of several car designs or they may be freelanced. The Kat-Hair cars and Guano Collector are three examples of freelanced cars.
