Red buckram spine, pictorial boards. Illustrated endpapers. Duo-tone illustrations by various artists such as Willett, Norman Meredith, and J. N. A. Rignall. Clean, bright, tight. 125 pp. Derek McCulloch better known as Uncle Mac of the B.B.C. This is Uncle Mac's own selection of his favourite stories which have been broadcast on Children's Hour, with some true stories and puzzles by famous people who have given talks over the air to children. Stories written by various authors such as Ken Francis, Norah Lewis, Olive Dehn, Geoffrey Dearmer, and Lieut.-Commander R. T. Gould.
