This is a very rare collector's item. It was published by the Limited Editions Club, New York, in 1938 and is hardcover. (7-1/2" x 10-1/2") Quarter leather over marbled paper-covered boards, all edges marbled, no slipcase. Introduction is by Raymond Weaver.

Miguel Covarrubias is the illustrator, and provided 16 powerful lithographs Illustrations drawn on the stone by Miguel Covarrubias. There are only 1500 copies that were signed by the artist on the colophon page, and this one is number 931 out of a total of only 1500 signed copies. Spine is pleasantly sunned. Quality: between Fine and Very Good. Printed for the Limited Editions Club by John Fass at the Harbor Press. This is a well preserved collector's item .
