About This Item
London: Thomas Nelson & Sons Ltd. 1st Edition. Pictorial Hard Boards. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. 96pp. A collection of short stories - one written by Honor Appleton as author. The book also contains a colour frontispiece plate by Honor Appleton and there are numerous line drawings throughout supporing the text. Colour pictorial hard boards with light sunning to the spine and boards. Some rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and to the corners of the boards which are also rounded and turned in with loss of the outer paper covering. Light bump to the front edge of the front board. A slight split to the head of the spine for 1 cm - barley visible. Neat brown ink presentation inscription dated 1928. A few page margins have slight finger soiling otherwise the pages are surprisingly clean and tight. A very good copy.
