London: John Lane the Bodley Head Ltd, 1925. First Edition. Fine/Fine. Introduction by C. Lewis Hind. Fine in an about Fine jacket, unclipped (£2.20 net), a few small closed tears at the edges. Cream buckram with blue ink lettering and designs matching that of the jacket. Square and firmly bound with a black top stain, frontispiece of Beardsley, and profusely illustrated. A remarkable copy of this work that was published to be uniform with The Early Work and The Later Work. This copy comes with a contemporary letter on John Lane letterhead explaining a delay in printing the book because of "a late discovery of hitherto unknown work of Beardsley's.
