Includes portrait frontispiece in the 162 plates, with explanatory paper guards. No dust jacket. Boards are rubbed at edges and slightly soiled. Inside clean and tidy, with some light foxing throughout. Binding is sound with no shaking or loose plates. Overall in good condition. 290 x 230 mm (11½ x 9 inches) Première édition, deuxième édition reliée en toile bleue, avec le titre et la décoration en noir. Comprend un portrait-frontispice dans les 162 planches, avec des gardes de papier explicatives. Pas de jaquette. Les plats sont frottés sur les bords et légèrement salis. L'intérieur est propre et bien rangé, avec quelques rousseurs légères. La reliure est solide, les planches ne tremblent pas et ne se détachent pas. Dans l'ensemble en bon état. 290 x 230 mm
