About This Item

William Heinemann London, 2017 Tom Hanks has a collection of typewriters. The man can also type. We all know he can act. He is gifted and can be funny and he can make you sad. He has actually held this first edition hardback book and SIGNED it on the title page, in a blue felt tip pen. It has a slightly and deliberately stressed looking rear of the jacket, which you can see in one of my photos. Some people think it is a fault. But it is not a fault. This jacket also has an official 'SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR' sticker on it. I must say that this collection makes you want to meet Tom Hanks. Shake him by the hand. The hand that actually held this book open when he signed it. We've all watched him on screen. And here in these wonderful stories we catch another side to his great talent.. Signed by Author. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Fine/Fine.
