About This Item
Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Alfred A. Knopf, 1967. This copy is a book club edition. Set off the coast of Massachusetts, the exciting story of what happens when a sailboat with two couples onboard are faced with an oncoming storm. 247 pages, dark green boards with the title and author name on the spine in greenish-yellow. Boards are flat, corners are not bumped or creased, very slight spine lean. Binding is tight. Dust jacket has been protected with a clear, removable dust jacket, showing a rubbing wear mark on the front just to the right if the blue ball part of the illustration. Jacket had been taped to the boards with narrow pieces of masking tape - the tape is still attached to the boards. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.
