New York / St. John's: The Viking Press. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1954. First Edition. Hardcover. 189 p. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Minor wear to the corner tips. Top colour stained edge is somewhat faded. Canadian publisher's label on the front pastedown endpaper, otherwise the inside page are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket has some fairly light edge wear, including rubbing and a couple of tiny chips and tears. A little light soil. Price clipped on front flap, affecting the title. A layman's account of man's efforts to move about and live under water; including diving, scuba, and submarine technologies. Illustrated in black and white. .
