About This Item

Paris, 1981. First edition. Quarto, 7 inches x 12 inches. One of 62 copies on handmade Moulin de Larrogue paper, from a total edition of 84 copies, signed by the author and artists. The work, conceived as an all-female production, was bound by Paule Ameline in full pale green box calf with onlays of dark green lizard, cut out in a triangular shape at the bottom of the front panel to reveal white iridesencent leather outlined in green onlay, back panel with parallel onlays of dark green lizard and white iridescent leather, pale green suede doublures, chemise and slipcase in matching suede-lined box calf with paper boards. A beautiful binding created in sympathy with the five women's text and illustrations.
