This is the autobiography of one of the greates jazz bass players who was also a composer and who played with all of the greats during his career. Contains an index and a discography in the rear. Original black cloth publisher's covers with silver spine lettering (there is a little light rubbing to the front cover. The dust jacket has tape reinforcement at the top and bottom at the spine (no tears or chips), else the jacket is also in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, creases or markings. ; B&W Photographs; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 239 pages .
