First American hardcover edition, published by Knopf, 1994. The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped. This is the fifth book in the eight book 'House of Niccolo' series. Set in the Court of King James III, the year is 1468, and Nicholas vander Poele is now a wealthy banker and knight. No writing, no highlighting, no former ownership marks. This copy is not a remainder, not a library discard. Sewn binding, cream colored boards with wheat colored cloth spine. Map on the inside front and back covers. The dust jacket is entirely intact and is nor price clipped. There are some light age foxing spots on the top edge of the text block, no further wear to report besides that. As is the case for all of our listings, the attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo.
Synopsis
