Standard Alloys Company maintained research laboratories which [further] proved Uranium's capacity to produce types of steels with "preeminent capacities to resist fatigue, as far as it is possible to measure these stresses by the present art of dynamic testing..." Chapters on history of Uranium, its nature, its "radio activity" and half-life, its benefits and influence in the steel-producing industry, Methods of Quanitative Analysis, its microscopic identification, etc. Includes several three-color test charts. Some corner wear and wear to spine caps. 32 pp.
