1909. Paperback. Otherwise very good condition. The first installment of a newsletter updating the West Point Class of 1905 as to employment, marriage, births and deaths of the class members.
News includes: 49 weddings, 22 births, 4 deaths, plans for a reunion, Class financials, details in a section called "Personals" using nicknames ("Alphabet " Williams) and amusing descriptions like, "Old Man" Grubbs established a reputation for himself as a scrapper in the Bud-Dajo fight in 1906. Some of the men in the Sixth Infantry said they couldn't hold him back."
Most members are still in the service, on mine planter ships, instructors at West Point, some civilians.
6 1/8 x 9 1/8", 18pp, paper wraps, string tied, cover dusty, chipped lower right front corner.
