Moscow: The State Publishing House of Graphic Arts. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1936. First Edition. Softcover. Condition is near very good. The January 1936 issue has a 20mm tear to the outer margin of the front cover, with paper tape repair. Spines rubbed. Some foxing.; 4 magazines from January to May 1936. Three are English language editions (#1 January 1936, #3 March 1936, and the double issue #4-5 April-May 1936). One is a German language edition (#2 Feb 1936). The January 1936 issue is on health resorts, and includes the folding map "Map of Resorts and Health Places in the USSR". "The beautiful mansions and country houses formerly owned by the big landowners and capitalists, the palaces of the former tsars and grand dukes, must be employed as sanitoria and health centres for the workers and peasants" - quoted on inside front cover of January 1936 issue. Illustrations include fold-outs, folding plates and tipped-in plates. Photo montage, Soviet propaganda. .
