GROSSET & DUNLAP. NY ND (1951). Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1951. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Photoplay Edition. Near fine in a Vg. + dust jacket. With the uncommon pictorial wraparound band present. (Slim 1"-inch damp stain at edge of rear end-paper. Mild bump to head of spine on cloth. 1"-inch chip at head of spine on DJ. Affects half the "Q" in "Quo." The wraparound band is fine but for a trivial chip which does not affect the pictorial content) The band has four separate scenes depicted from the MGM film production starring Robert Taylor & Deborah Kerr. Pale green card SIGNED by actor Robert Taylor mounted on plain white index card laid-in loosely. Accompanying the book is a near fine booklet titled "The Story behind Quo Vadis" in stapled pictorial printed wrappers which is illustrated with photos from the MGM technicolor epic film. A splendid medley of related material. ; 5 3/4" x 8 1/2"; 422 pages .

I received this book as a gift for my 18th birthday in 1955. The title, age and not liking to read, I filed it. When I did pick it up in n my 30's and read it it became one of my favorite reads.
