This was a significant time, with many changes occurring in the rights of Women in the United States. Eleven of her books were published from 1923 through 1942 by the Woman's Press, New York. Her works covered many subjects, including spirituality, race relations, Girl's Camp activities, travel , Women's suffrage (documentary and biographical) and she wrote the biography of Grace Hoadley Dodge, an important part of the women's suffrage movement. These books provide detailed and unique information regarding the struggles of women in America and those who struggled to redefine their rights. Vain, Pomp and Glory was her third book. Fine..
