Expertly and sympathetically rebound in period bindng of aged full-vellum. Third edition of this guide to abbreviations used in official and historical texts of antiquity. It was also an invaluable aid in the interpretation of classical inscriptions during the Renaissance. The first appearance of the woodcut of a Sibyl. Goff P-996.
