About This Item
Kimber,, [1979]. 8vo., First Edition, with 53 plates on 16 and 4 maps in the text; cloth, gilt back, a very good, clean copy in the dustwrapper. First-hand account marred by irritating printing errors. The four 'C'-class AA cruisers fought hard from the outset (Norway, Dunkirk, Malta, Greece); all were sunk through enemy action by October 1942. They were manned partly by reservists from London Division RNR whose story shines through. VERY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION. Enser, p.61; Law, 1016
