About This Item

Kingswood, Surrey, UK: World's Work, 1949. 1st Edition 1st Impression. Hardcover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 166pp plus publishers adverts at rear. Quarter bound in green cloth on cloth (severely rubbed, marked and faded at edges with loss of cloth and and upper rear corner worn completely away). 12mo. Pages are soft and some dog-eared, but basically clean and complete. Stamp on front endpaper indicating that the book was once part of the Apostolio Library at Mungret College (a Jesuit college and day school near Limerick). We would not normally offer a book in this condition but this novel is very hard to find this copy is perfectly readable, so would make a good filler for a gap in a Fearn collection until a better copy can be found.
