About This Item

New York: Beaux Arts Editions, 1999. Hardcover. Fine. pp319 Large folio 28x36cm. A high quality art book published by Hugh Lauter Levin Associates. Exceptionally well illustrated including 300 colour plates and 60 black and white illustrations. There are chapters dedicated to Van Gogh's time in Arles, Saint-Remy and Auvers. The book is fine in tan boards with gold spine lettering and colour portrait of Van Gogh to upper cover; in a near fine blue heavy weight dust jacket showing only minor signs of handling.
