Doubleday, New York., 1970. First Edition (Stated).. Hardcover.. Very Fine/VG+. 9 1/2 H x 6 3/8 W x 1 1/8 thick.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. GIFT QUALITY. May have been read once gently. Book Interior VERY FINE / Boards Fine / Dust Jacket Near Fine. Sewn binding. Rag edge pages. Book Club Edition. Boards and spine are blue cloth, lettering gilt. Spine is straight, square, solid, has a tiny bit of wear on top and bottom edges, has a 1/32 inch wear spot at top corner that has two threads exposed, has a few minor creases top and bottom. Dust jacket is white, lettering black/red, colour photo wrapping around from front to back, photo of Vancouver from the Southwest by George Kropinski. Dust jacket is price clipped, has some age darkening on edges and folds of flaps, spine is a bit sunned but is still very legible, has three small bits of colour off on spine, has a 3/16 inch rip at top of dj spine and a few bits of colour off at top of spine, miniscule edge wear. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, no sunning, no edge wear. Page edges clean, bright. Inner end papers are blue/white/black map of Vancouver, same on back. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Small bit of age darkening inside covers at binding. No dog ears that I saw. Owner’s name, date, small, in ink on ffep. The Romance Of Canadian Cities Series. Black/white photos. Bibliography. Index.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
