About This Item
A.L. Burt and Company, No Date. Cloth/Hardcover. Fine . This wonderful copy of Vanity Fair is encased in reddish-orange cloth and gold gilt on the cover. The spine shows black gilt. The pictures within this book are pictures from the silent movie produced in 1923, with Mabel Ballin in the role of Becky Sharpe. The next version of the movie was produced in 1932 as the first sound version. Taking this into consideration, and since the book itself has no published date within, it would be safe to consider this book being published after 1923 and before 1932. Minimal bending of corners is noted, as well as some folding at both the top and bottom of the books spine. There is no writing, underlining or highlghting of anytype noted. The books spine is taut and intact, and no yellowing is noted either. This edition contains 617 pages, and would be a wonderful addition to one's collection!
