Signed by Author. History of the city of Vanport, Oregon, situated on a flood plain between Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon, and which was conceived in 1942 as a temporary housing project for families of war-time shipyard workers. The temporary city was destroyed by flood on Memorial Day, 1948. Illustrated with photos.
