Complete Set of 6 Volumes comprising Vasari's great biographical work of the Master Artists of the Renaissance. English Text. Frontis of Vol. 1 has an engraved Portrait of Vasari. Burgundy cloth covers with blind stamped "Bohn's Libraries" on the fronts and Gilt Lettering and similar Logo on spines.Vol I, 511 Pages + Publisher's adverts; Vol II, (dated 1891) 508 Pages; Vol III (dated 1887) 526 Pages; Vol IV (dated 1891) 548 Pages; Vol V (dated 1892) 580 Pages; Vol VI (dated 1892) 305 Pages. Front hinge of Vol I a little cracked. Spines faded (see photos). Slight edge wear and a few small nicks to cloth at spine ends. (From the Library of Peter and Linda Murray, their Bookplate is on the front endpaper of each volume. Gift inscription dated 1896 on ffep of Vol I, no other inscriptions.
