Publisher’s cloth; lacking the first blank and rear free endpaper; a little cocked and shaken; good to very good. This is an undated presentation copy, inscribed by the author to a presumed relative, “Mary E. Parkman with best regards of Francis Parkman.” The recipient’s book label is pasted inside the front cover.
