Author inscription in ink at front free endpaper reading "To Professor Charles Stewart, F.L.S. [Fellow of the Linnaean Society], from his old friend, the Author : Dec. 1st 1887." CONDITION: Good ex-library, spine rubbed and chipped at head of spine, cracked front inner hinge, library label residue at bottom left of front cover, multiple library stamps at front endpapers, library stamp at title, library pocket affixed to rear free endpaper.
