Garden City: Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1969. First US Edition Thus/7th Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. The Second Edition reissued here by Doubleday in the 1960's. In pictorial boards with rubbing or chewing(rodents?) to front edge of front board and bottom front corner through paper in a few spots, otherwise quite nice. Previous owner's last name to top of ffep. Jacket is unclipped ($2.95) with aforementioned chewing through half of front flap crease extending onto front panel and around top of spine and front panel. A few short tears at edges and some stains to front panel.

Beautiful endpapers and illustrations. Jacket is unclipped ($3.95) with chips to spine and bottom front corner and activity/abrasion to jacket at edges and rear panel from silverfish creating some holes/small loss.
