Small 4to; original coarse grey cloth, lettered in red on spine and upper cover; no dustwrapper; endpaper map; pp. 96; reproductions of the drawings, with notes on the artists. Occasional fox spot. Very good condition. 'The drawings of the Venetians are particularly interesting to us. Less known than those of Florence, they represent a painting school which Berenson calls "the most complete expression in art of the Italian Renaissance".' .
