Publisher's blue cloth. Les Miserables, 5 vols.; Toilers of the Sea, 2 vols.; Notre-Dame, 2 vols.; The Man Who Laughs, 2 vols.; Ninety-Three, 2 vols. Previous owner's rubber stamp in volume 1 of Les Miserables. Bindings are tight, a couple volumes very lightly cocked. Many unopened pages. One board with chewed corner. Volumes are clean and in very good condition overall. Each volume copiously illustrated with designs by CHIFFLART, D. VIERGE, VICTOR HUGO, BAYARD, BRION, JOHANNOT, G. ROCHEGROSSE, DE NEUVILLE, MORIN, VALNAY, and other eminent French artists. A very nice set.
