Leipzig: C.F. Peters Book. Illus. by sheet music with title pages complete. Very Good. 3/4 Leather. 1st Edition. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Four fine volumes of 31 opus Grieg piano sheet music, bound in red morocco spines and coerners, 5 raised bands on the spines of all volumes with bright gilt titles and volume numbers, and gilt decoration in the spine panels. Slight wear at the corners. Hinges all tight. Marbled endpapers in beige and red to match the papers on the boards. Titles for the music in German, but some titles also in Norwegian and English. Solid 4 volumes with internal leather hinges, no foxing or stains, or prior owner marks. 31 cm tall. An handsome set, no other copies listed on the internet. Uniquely bound by a Grieg enthusiast. No other copies found on the internet. Published circa 1900 ?? .
