New York: The Viking Press, 1956. First US Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. Book is in beautiful shape with patterned boards and red spine cloth with black type. Top page ends tinted. Light ding to top rear corner. Bookplate to front pastedown, otherwise clean with solid binding. Jacket is unclipped ($4.95) with some chipping and tears to corners and spine ends and longer tear to top of front panel adjacent corner. Top inside of spine and front panel reinforced with tape. Fading to spine, some edgewear/nicks and a few marks.
