About This Item
San Francisco: Banana Productions, 1977. Very good plus.. An irreverent and sometimes explicit and disturbing Dada take on FILE Magazine, which was itself a parody of LIFE Magazine. This periodical was founded on mail art, and also includes glimpses of Fluxus, collage, and concrete poetry. It also features parodies of mid-20th century advertisements. 11'' x 8.5''. Original pictorial wrappers, perfect-bound. Endpapers with repeating pattern of high-heeled shoe. Illustrated throughout in black-and-white. 98 pages. Numbered "498" in red ink to first page. Some mild scoffing to edges, corners and spine ends lightly bumped. Else sound and bright.
