A fine copy with only the lightest of age toning to top edge and cloth boards. Deep green title and decorations to front board and spine. Gold cloth with pictorial depiction of acorns and vine--see digital photo. Interior has absolutely no markings except for original owners name in stamp (name only) to front pastedown and endpaper. No spine give--square, clean and tight. A very collectible book in remarkable condition from the Pulitzer Prize winning author. Rare to find this book listed in any condition in first printing--let alone in fine condition.
