New York: Coward-McCann, 1938. First Edition. Octavo (21cm.); publisher's cloth in pictorial dust jacket; 333pp. General edge wear to jacket extremities, spine a bit sunned, corners bumped, light soil to textblock fore-edge, else Very Good and sound. Inscribed and signed by the author on front free endpaper: "To Professor Babcock: A man for whom I have a very deep and real respect, one who has influenced me for the best, one with whom I can talk on common grounds of faith.." The poet's first novel, set in a small town in the author's native New England. Not in Hanna.
