With the bookplate of Chris Viveash, a Jane Austen scholar and contributor to the Austen Society Reports. This volume, published from the manuscripts, contains two of Austen's works written in her youth, Catharine and Evelyn. In original publisher's quarter cloth with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with some light rubbing and bumping. Personal library bookplates to front pastedown and free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean. Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
