Clean bright dustjacket is unchipped, has one short closed edge tear, hint of wear at spine edges, small price clip to front inside flap. Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover. Story of the luxury ocean liner "St. Louis" which sailed from Hamburg, Germany on May 13, 1939 (one of the last ships to leave Nazi Germany before World War II erupted). Aboard were 937 Jews--some had already been in concentration camps--who believed hey had brought visas to enter Cuba. 8vo. World War II..
