Paris, France: Chez les Frères de Bure, 1778. Sixth edition. Hardcover. Fair+. 12mo (7"x4"). 492pp. Full leather, spine label, marbeled endpapers, laid paper. Leather cracked over spine parallel to joints, leather cracked over joints. Binding held by 3 of 7 intact raised bands. Signature at p.243 loose except for uppermost band. Leather heavily worn and scuffed. Spine extremes tail-edges and corners heavily rubbed with board exposed. B&W intaglio etchings throughout: frontis, cuts and several fold-outs (no maps, as issued).
