Reprint of a bestseller in its day; an account by Annie Brassey, wife of Thomas Brassey, of their trip around the world on a steam yacht, accompanied by four children and two dogs. In 1887 she died of malaria while on a voyage from Darwin to Mauritius and was buried at sea. Illustrated with woodcuts throughout. No maps. 511 pgs. ; .
